Smart employment fair held at SUST
Sylhet Smart Employment Fair - 2023 was held on Thursday at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology-SUST in Sylhet amid the blockade. Smart Bangladesh winning freelancers and IT Touch in Qoumi entrepreneurs Minhaj Uddin, Nazmul Haque and Ahmed Tafa delivered motivational speeches on freelancing at the mini auditorium of the university at 11 am.
Speaking at the fair held in collaboration with the Department of Information and Communication Technology, the speakers shared their experiences of struggling to become a successful freelancer and answered various questions from the audience.
Earlier, under the chairmanship of university and While speaking as the chief guest Professor Dr. Md. Kabir Hossain said, 'Smart means to be able to do any work on time through self-criticism and create a beautiful environment for the future generation. Today's students will be the shapers of Smart Bangladesh. The goal of our students will be to keep up with the competition in Bangladesh and beyond. Our university is making an important contribution towards building a smart Bangladesh. We have to continue the progress of Bangladesh in information technology.

The director of student guidance of the university, Professor Dr. Md. Rashed Talukder, Proctor Professor Dr. Md. Kamruzzaman Chowdhury, Head of Department of Computer Science and Engineering Professor Muhammad Masum and Director of Bangladesh Computer Council Sylhet region Md. Abdul Hannan Chowdhury spoke at the event.
Two documentaries on Digital Bangladesh called 'Joy Bangla Bole Aage Baro' and 'Digital Bangladesh Swapnopooran' were screened on the occasion.

Meanwhile, the Rangamati Smart Employment Fair was held on Wednesday, November 1, at the conference room of Dipankar Talukdar Bhaban. The fair was presided over by Dhiman Sharma, Chairman, Computer Science and Engineering Department of Rangamati University of Science and Technology.
Pro-Vice Chancellor of the university Professor Dr. Kanchan Chakma, Registrar Mohammad Yusuf, Bangladesh Computer Council Chittagong Regional Director Eng. Firoz Alam spoke on the occasion. Kazi Tarana, Chief Engineer, Project and Communication Branch, Coders Trust Bangladesh conducted the program.
